    Course Description

    Internship project in applied hydrogeology. Required for hydrogeology-internship MS program (minimum 3 hours).


  3. Justification

    A. Please briefly explain why it is necessary and/or desirable to add this course.

    Since 1994, the Department of Geology has awarded 33 degrees in its hydrogeology-internship MS program. Students are required to do an internship project as part of this program. The internship projects are supervised by practicing professional geologist

    It is the final course in the Hydrogeology Internship MS degree track

    It has been offered as a GLY 6905 course for each student, as described above.

    The course will be administered by the Director of the Hydrogeology Internship program, and by the Graduate Program Director of the Geology Department (currently, these are the same people).
