Opportunities for Graduate Student Research Funding
We are happy to provide a number of links to various organizations that provide direct funding for graduate student research, training or conference participation. You can view by discipline as well as by project due dates. In addition, a number of sites are provided that serve as a searchable database to find current opportunities for funding, scholarships and jobs. Be aware that the application process may require many months of work and that the applications are typically submitted through a faculty member and may require additional certifications (IRB, IACUC). In addition, the Office of Sponsored Research must approve all grants submitted from USF. The Graduate School is always looking for additional agencies that provide graduate student funding opportunities as well as your success stories about obtaining funding. You may submit any additional links or funding success stories to Matthew Cordner. You may also want to check the Workshops link for resources in preparing grants and other resources.
