	CUTR is pleased to announced that Sara Hall and Dajana Vuckovic have been awarded the 2007 Georgia Brosch Memorial Transportation Scholarship. The $1,000 scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, professional activities, and career goals. Both recipients will be recognized at the 2007 CUTR Transportation Achievement Award Dinner on November 1 2007. Congratulations, Sara and Dajana!

	Congratulations to Ivan I. Oleynik for not only receiving two new peer-reviewed grants from NSF and DARPA/ONR (which are impressive enough!), but also on his cumulative excellence in obtaining research funding exceeding $1M in the past five years. These new competitive grants are national recognition of the caliber of research being conducted in Ivan's lab and are a source of pride for the Physics Department and the College. Kudos to Ivan and best wishes for continued success in the future.
