Graduate Program Directors

Graduate Program Directors are faculty who work within the Graduate Program in an academic-administrative capacity. Program Director's duties may vary by program, but commonly include recruiting, admissions, graduate advising, and general academic support for the graduate students. It's that time of year again! The Outstanding Thesis/Dissertation (OTD) Awards are intended to recognize those USF graduates who have demonstrated exceptional performance during their graduate careers at USF and whose thesis or dissertation has resulted in significant impact to the discipline at the National level. Theses and Dissertations submitted for these awards should represent those that are considered to be in the top 2% of their specific discipline. It is the intention of the Graduate School to submit the award winners to National OTD competitions, and the application materials reflect those that are required by these competitions. Please apply soon, the deadline for submission of complete packages is April 26, 2013.

2012-2013 Brown Bag Meetings

The Graduate School holds several Brown Bag information sessions each semester for Graduate Program Directors and Graduate Program administrative staff. Meeting topics include: Admissions and Academics policy updates, new Graduate School initiatives, and a question and answer segment. Attendees are welcome to bring a bag lunch. The 2012-2013 schedule is listed below. All meetings are scheduled from 11:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. and are held in the TECO Room located in the Anchin Center. For questions contact cdh@usf.edu.
