Question:
Can I enroll family members in this coverage? Can I
add my spouse and child? Can parents, siblings, or
my fiancée be added to the policy?
Answer:
The plan is designed for the employee,
the employee’s spouse, and the employee’s child or
children only. It would not cover any other member
living in or outside of the home who has a
relationship with the employee (i.e., siblings,
fiancée, etc.). The University’s contribution would
be applied to the employee coverage; spouse and/or
dependent child(ren) coverage is available at cost.
An employee could opt to pay for that coverage
(spouse and child(ren)) through bi-weekly payroll
deductions or in a lump sum by check or credit card. |
