CONCENTRATIONS
Complete the Concentration Approval Form
attach a
250-word abstract that briefly explains
i. why the concentration is
needed
ii. what the primary goals are.
Include
iii. the name of the program
(major) that will offer it,
iv. the requirements,
v. total hours,
vi. Budget Acct number,
attach the corresponding
Graduate Catalog Copy showing the
changes that will be needed if the
proposal is approved
CONCENTRATION CHANGES
Complete the Concentration Approval Form
Attach a memo that includes
i. what the requirements were,
ii. what has been changed, and
iii. why it is needed

Routing:
Faculty creates proposal
Faculty submits proposal to Department,
then to College
Curriculum Committee (if applicable)
