Eric is the Program Manager for the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) as well as the Executive Administrative Assistant to Dr. Karen Liller, Dean of the Graduate School and Associate Vice President for Research & Innovation. His duties are varied and consist of: managing all aspects of the OPA; developing the postdoctoral scholars policy manual; designing the OPA website; assisting the Dean with all administrative needs; serving as Accountable Officer for all Graduate School accounts and Financial Administrator for all Graduate School Foundation accounts; acting as backup leave coordinator, building manager, payroll certifier, and human resource liaison; coordinating logistical arrangements for annual awards receptions; and managing a myriad of other Graduate School functions utilizing FAST, BANNER, CERTS, GEMS, and OASIS.
Eric began working at USF in April of 2003 and spent his first two years in the Registrar’s Office before moving over to the Graduate School. He graduated from USF in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, focusing his studies mainly on Creative Writing. A member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society, Eric enjoys reading, camping, hiking, traveling, and writing screenplays.
