Alec Smith is the Treasurer of the Graduate and Professional Student Council and has been employed with the Graduate School since August of 2008. In this role, he is responsible for coordination and oversight of the GPSC's Budget and all purchases. Alec has worked at USF since 2003, first with the New Student Welcome Center as a tour guide for 4 years and then in the Scholarship Office, both part of Undergraduate Admissions.
In December 2009 Alec plans on graduating with a Masters of Architecture from the School of Architecture+Community Design at USF. His thesis is on the study and development of a Transitional Housing Unit for Victims of Catastrophes.
