Doctoral Fellowships Available For Sustainability Research at the Water-Energy-Materials-Human-Nexus (TAMPA)

Applicants are being solicited for a doctoral Graduate Fellowship Program that will train the next generation of PhD engineers / scientists / practitioners to research sustainability issues at the water-energy-materials-human nexus. Doctoral fellows in this program are supported through a grant from the Department of Education. A total of eight fellows are eligible to receive up to an annual $30,000 stipend in addition to coverage of their tuition and fees. The University of South Florida subsidizes graduate student health insurance and some funds are available for supplies, travel, and other research expenses.

Governor Crist has re-launched the Gubernatorial Fellows Program web site, and applications are now available at www.floridafellows.com. This is truly a fantastic opportunity for graduate students to receive advanced on-the-job training and an invaluable front-line view of the inner workings of state government.
