Interdisciplinary fields of Study, Mathematical Sciences, Computer and Information Sciences, Engineering, Social Sciences, Psychology, Geosciences, Life Sciences, Chemistry, and Physics
1,650 Fellowships to be awarded!
DUE DATES NOVEMBER 2nd – 12th (depending on Discipline)
Applications are submitted by the students online through the NSF FASTLANE mechanism
Students must be in the first year of graduate school and have completed no more than 12 months of full-time graduate study by Aug 1, 2009.
The application materials required are not extensive. Lets rock NSF by having at least 100 of these fellowships submitted from USF graduate students!
Required Essays:1) The Personal Statement
2) Previous Research Experience
3) Proposed Graduate Study
Max of 2 pages each, 12 point New Times Roman font with 1” margins
Optional Essay1) Eligibility (Applicants must be United States citizens or nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States)
Max of 1 page each, 12 point New Times Roman font with 1” margins
Required Support Documents
1) Official Academic Transcripts (Must be received by field of study deadline)
2) Three Reference Letters (Due December 1, 2009)
Optional Support Documents
1) Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) Test Scores (Due November 30, 2009)
